Some lucky company is going to get a fine mechanical engineer. This kind of practical hands on experience turns the textbook theory into reality.

You can use this to great benefit in your upcoming interviews.

New grad? No - experienced.

Just plain Fascinating

Very well done. I'm guessing you will do some performance measurement after it's all buttoned up and running? It'd be nice to know the kind of improvement can be gained by such detailed work, in hard measurable numbers.

Amazing work and attention to detail.

Been doing a little work this week...

Got some parts from kilby for my OBA system

Redoing the engine harness with new electrical and heat shield tape

Started cleaning the engine bay

Put some dielectric grease on plugs I pulled apart

Decided to pull the transmission and clean it. PO must have driven through a construction site because there is tar on everything.

It has been nice outside so took the pressure washer to it

Missed a spot^^^^

Kidding...looks great! How is the engine coming along?

This little guy showed up today... Akella is the man for putting this group buy together. Thanks again.

Should I be looking for a build thread?

Nah....I decided to do something very un-beno-like and I bought a built 60.

:)

33's/4.11's/ARBs FF/RR/ARB front bumper/HG recently done/front axle job done/AC system reconditioned and converted to 134/2.5 OME lift.

I am gonna swap some of my new parts from my current dead 60 over to this one--hoses/fan clutch/radiator/wires/etc. Other than that, it's gonna be my DD so I can start on my frame and body swap on my 80.

:)
