Tonight I’m working on restoring the fresh air pull and heater motor switch.

I didn’t plate the heater core, though the thought did cross my mind , the core is brass I just simply cleaned and polished it.
As for plating the rest of the stuff I’m just following Mr. T’s lead on what to plate and what not too. I did plate a few things like latches and hinges that would have simply been painted at the factory, but I wanted to provide an additional layer of corrosion resistance. I’ve had bad results with rust leaching out of hinges after exposure to the elements in the past.
