Small coax like cable is what is connected. Found when doing stereo work near stock amp under dash.

Probably part of original mobile phone or glass breakage sensor from alarm system.

Rip it out.

The ~pl-259-ish and coax suggests antenna, the "do not rotate" warning suggests directional, the small size suggests uhf or microwave.

It sure looks like a coax connector but not a PL-259 which is much larger. Garage door openers use a frequency range somewhere about 325 Mhz. Somewhere on the device there should be an FCC-ID that can be looked up on the FCC website or a model number that can be googled.

My guess is an antenna for one of the old cellular 'bag' phones. Those had a smaller coax connector.

Or maybe a LoJack antenna?

Well, it sure looks like you have already rotated and removed it....

It could also be a detonator for plastic explosive. Rotate it and see if you cruiser blows up. (Kidding)
