Ahhh, I see (remember) the the top dilema now...

so does that mean I have to have a 25 hardtop?? or was this a one off early 40 thing??

Jonathan at tlc4x4.com has early corrogated top sides that will bolt up to your fiberglass...It looks like the fiberglass is original ...its a bit taller than a normal 40 top and your looks like it has the rear top vent also...they are also high post as your rig is.

Pics, these will work for you, condition is not as bad as the paint scheme might indicate. The glass is marked FJ25...
