Man, as soon as you get this setup for production, I am right there in the "take my money" crowd. VERY ready to get a winch on board and while I love the rear SSS bumper, I really feel like the front of the SSS front bumper is way more out there than I hoped for. I keep hoping for something that is just as bad ass, but a little more slick with the lines. Then again I have yet to see anyone post a clear picture from above or measurement comparison on how much further out the SSS front bumper sits. There are none near me to view at the moment. I've been jazzed on the idea of a winch sitting way back in between the frame yokes on a bumper, and if I can't get a plate bumper that does that then this is the next best thing. Great work. Any thoughts on what you want to charge for that bad boy in production?

Also if anyone does have measurements or top down pics that show before and after with a SSS bumper I would be most grateful to see them. CHeers, and once again great work WGW.

At this point, can you post any more detail about the shackle mounts? I can't tell if they are integral to the mount, bolted on, attached to frame, or ????

The one thing I did realize is there is no burled walnut or bird's eye maple on this mount - WGW wtf? ;)

Well there may not be wood in the product, but after looking at it there is wood in my pants.

In the original pics that were posted it looked like they were bolted to the top of the replacement bumper beam.

Shackle points are an option ... in line with the frame rails

What a cheap bastard....

Sent from my XT1585

they are held on by 3m double sided tape

Ya I was also hoping for some wood work as well. Maybe a wood Fairlead?

actually the entire mount is carved from a single cypress stump that grew right here in the bayous of LA ... I'v hired an old swamp logger named Cecile who travels deep into the woods for weeks at a time to find the perfect wood chunk ... I pay him in moonshine and he widdles the bumper with a case pocket knife his grand-daddy gave him when he was 2yo ....

Well there may not be wood in the product, but after looking at it there is wood in my pants.

Hes a real boy! ... Cecile would like you!

Does this help...?
I think the size of the SSS bumper is misleading ... bc your kind of taking all of what's down low and bring it up high ... for crawling and offroad use its perfect ... giving you the most ground clearance ...
It's not everyone's taste ... not mine at first but it grew on me the more I saw it and now I love it ... I'd be surprised if it stuck out farther than an ARB

Don't hate. You need to make something I can buy ok

Nothing but love wingy ... the ones on my design won't work on the stock bumper sorry ... it would need to be a seperate application ... but IMO ... I don't think or recommend towing, winching, or yanking on the factory bumper ...
