For giggles I of course zinc plated all of the OEM spring clamps. I dunno, kinda linking it 🤔

Making another minor change on the #Turbo truck. The #rondavisracingproducts radiator comes with a 1/8NPT fitting for a 1/4” nipple. Well I can’t leave well enough alone. I want to step it up with 1/8NPT to 3AN and just run a threaded hose to the “new” coolant overflow tank 😉

AN hose for coolant overflow? Hell yeah.

You really need to get this truck to SEMA this year. Last year there were only a couple of 80s and none had your product line...or a Turbo kit.

So understanding that the OEM solution was crazy simple and JUST a short length length of some 3/8” oil hose, I decided to way over complicate it by switching all of the trans cooler lines over to AN-6 fittings and Continental hose. I am loving how it’s all turning out and changing hoses is now going to be incredibly easy...in 15 years when it’s time to change then again 😜

I would need to hunt down someone willing to display it. No way in hell I'm doing a booth there.
I think the shop that is doing all the zinc plating owes it to you by now...

My huge order of Breeze AeroSeal clamps finally arrived. I switched out the t-bolts I did have in there for worm gear clamp. Since these are going onto thin-walled aluminum tubing, worm gear clamps are better for consistent clamping force whereas the t-bolts put more tension on one point and could disfigure the intake pipes.

One of the things I don’t like about worm clamps is how it looks with the excess clamp. It just sits there. Poking out. Mocking me. Well some 3M VHB makes quick work of that. 😉

Maybe order shorter clamps or have them trimmed to ahead of time.
