I’m surrounded by some very cool people. Had a customer text me and asking if I could use some AN wrenches. I said sure could and three days later these showed up.
If I could go back in time I would make Wits’ End AN wrenches

Where'd you source that float? I'm replacing/relocating my washer bottle with a new one right now and that would be a slick trigger for a low fluid indicator. This may not be terribly exciting for most but since I’m going to be running #MethInjection I will be needing a tank. I don’t want to add a tank. But our trucks already have a #methanol tank. It’s called the windshield fluid reservoir. It’s going to remain a washer reservoir but it’s also going to supply the methanol (washer fluid) to the turbo to cool the intake temperature down significantly.
The new tank got a new motor. The flat spot in back (that looks like it used to be for another pump motor) instead got drilled and tapped for 1/4NPT so that a 4AN fitting could be added. Next I was able to figure out that the tank covers the auxiliary battery hold down. But this truck isn’t getting dual batteries. So instead I’m going to use that hole to route the float wiring. Now that larger circular impression in the bottle gets a .75” hole drilled dead center. Then the float gets mounted and tested. Good to go.

Are you planning on...or already...selling these adapters?Ok, I think I’m going to do something that may be polarizing. It’s either a really stupid idea because Toyota knew what they were doing OR this is genius only in its idiocy
On the 1FZ Land Cruiser you have the transmission lines that run into the lower tank on the radiator. Those threads, on OEM radiators, are stainless steel. There are two fittings that convert those to a 3/8” nipple that go into two different directions. Those fittings are steel and the flared tube is actually copper. Now a simple 3/8” oil cooler hose and simple clamps is all you need. And it’s worked for 22 years just fine.
I on the other hand, am an idiot and thus MUST find a different way to make me happy. You see I want something cooler/betterer. So I’m converting the absolutely ridiculous and non-existent M14 x 1.0 fittings from the radiator to standard AN-6 flare fittings so that all of the transmission hoses will now be AN-6 fittings. More on that later.

It's close but looks like a universal setup.Looks like a low fluid level sensor out of a late 90's to early 2000's dodge ram windshield washer bottle.
I don't mean to bash other build threads or "repair" threads on Mud, but this thread in particular has been pretty damn enlightening on some things I hadn't even thought about.
