Hi everyone. I'm the owner of a new-to-me 1996 Land Cruiser, which I am trying to piece back together. Some things were missing or broken, and one that I am a bit confused on is the correct part number for the rear mudguards.

In various searches, I have come across a few different part numbers and I'm not sure which ones are interchangeable with the correct mudguards for my 96. Will mudguards from a different year 80-series fit on mine?

I have the fender flares intact on my LC by the way.

Chk the Classifieds or Ebay as Dealership is $$$$.

If you plan on wheeling it, get a piece of semi flap and cut to size (it flexes) and tek screw it on

Yes I would like to buy off eBay or used off the classifieds, but I am unsure if I can use mudguards from a different year (if they will attach and fit exactly). So that's why I would like to know the part #'s and/or interchangeable years for the mudguards.

And no, I'm not going to off road. I just want to restore everything and use as my daily driver.

There are a LH & RH on Ebay for $35 each plush shipping in Cally.

One resource I use to answer questions like yours is Cruiserparts.net, and while they typically don't offer part numbers, it is a good jumping off point. They do a nice job breaking down which parts work with which years and gives you a ballpark $ amount for parts when searching the classifieds on Mud, Ebay, etc. I've also had success purchasing from the directly.

According to the link above 93-97 w/ flares use the same mudflaps. HTH.

That helps, thanks! I just wanted to be sure I didn't need mudflaps specifically for my year. This answers my question.

Good find, thanks for pointing me in that direction.

If it matters to you, LX and LC have different part numbers for rear mudflaps, but the only difference is a portion of the flap that is painted to match the fender flare and the absence of "LAND CRUISER" text.

i have a set off my 97 LC that I'm not using anymore. PM me if you're interested.

I also have 1996 rear flaps I took off and don't need

Thanks both of you, but I guess I was too quick to jump on the eBay ones. I ordered those before I saw your last two messages.

If anyone has a passenger side front (RH) for a 95 with flairs no running boards for sale.. Id be interested!
