I have better things to throw away my money on, but it's good to see the choices out there.Lucas Oil Hot-Rod and Classic 20w50 in summer, 10w40 in winter.
literally asstons of ZDDP in there. greater than 2000ppm
Hot Rod & Classic Car 10W-40 Motor Oil
As of Feb 2016, Mobil 1 15w-50 still looks like king of this hill:

The M1 15w-50 is currently in my FJ60, however for the winter I am thinking of changing it due to the weather. I live in NJ, and we have cold winters. I was thinking of using M1 5w40 for the winter. Any opinions on that idea?
5w40 looks like a good choice. You could also run half 0w40 mixed with half 15w50. People on bobistheoilguy site mix their own concoctions all the timeThe M1 15w-50 is currently in my FJ60, however for the winter I am thinking of changing it due to the weather. How fast does it deplete? Linear curve?Again, 1200 to 1300 ppm zinc compounds as most of the above listed oils contain, is not "plenty" of zddp. It's the minimum amount and is rapidly depleted. That's why you need at least 1700 (or more) to start so it's still at the minimum by the time you get around to changing the oil.
I also ordered the Eastwood ZDDP oil additive 4 fl oz... Do I just have the whole bottle of additive put in?? Is this all even correct???! QUOTE]
