Yeah, it was a little unsettling.
Some friends got to drive my tertiary '80 for on a weekend camping trip out to "the" glacier. I think they enjoyed their first time water crossings.

It's a nice time of year to remember Summer adventures so I thought I'd try to revive this thread and draw out a few more tales and photos from the group.
Below is from Cataloochee on the NC side of the Smokey MT National Park. It's a great place to take the 80 even though there is no relevant off-roading. Piling the kids in the back, opening all of the windows and slow-cruising around watching the wildlife (Elk mostly) is great fun.

not much going on with this thread lately. where are all you guys' adventure pictures? Some wet muddy camping and VenturCraft shakedown cruise near Mayer AZ at a buddy's hunting camp. also first try with new Gazelle tent. the Gazelle kept us lots dryer, completely dry in fact, but hey it's not a 1995 model.

I only took that a couple of weeks ago and I don't think I tagged it at all. But I tossed it up on a couple of facebook posts so you might have seen it there. Maybe in a reply to something on Daryls Hornsby's page?

Man, I always love seeing your pics.
Great to see the cruiser getting out through its paces in such a beautiful part of the world!
Man I kicked this off yesterday afternoon and boy did you guys respond. Great picture and awesome places for our Cruisers to tread! thanks for sharing.
