What's the best cat with y-pipe for over the frame rail exhaust replacement? Magnaflow 23210?

so on the Y-Pipe connection ; the connector Y 'part' comes from the vendor and then is welded at the top (two pipes) to the original coming down from the headers?

That's right except it just bolts onto the headers.

That's right. It's out of frame. Y-pipe is welded. Check that part number 23120

I wish I would of used the Magnaflow Y pipe on my frame over exhaust especially after cutting apart the factory down pipe and seeing how restrictive it is. You can see in the picture anyone running big running larger exhaust tubing is wasting there money leaving a factory down pipe. You can bet the next time I mess with my exhaust I will do the Magnaflow up-grade. A Supercharged friend changed just the down pipe to Magnaflow only and claim better seat of the pants feel and .5mpg mileage increase. Seems like a no-brainer for the SC 80 guys.

Nope, depending on your year it replaces a factory part.

Using a MagnaFlow 23120 Y-Pipe w/ 1 cat you dont need to run the second Cat? So the MF23120 is a 3 way cat?
