Anybody know where I can get a replacement panel for the inside of the back door? Didn't have my gun case all the way inside the vehicle this morning and cracked the damn thing when I closed the door. Dammit. ;(

I scored a canoe for free from Craigslist today! I'm going to turn it into a snow sled.

Why don't you turn it over and use it as a canoe??

Both north shore and lakeside should be able to help here locally. If they can't I'm sure trdparts4u can assist you. Try our local sponsors first!

Got some new parts today! I went to the junkyard and picked up a gm van steering column early 90s and the ujoint shaft that connects the column to the box and it's a double u-joint shaft with a damper just got to get a way to extend the shaft down to the box. I also got a duel pulley p/s pump off of a early-mid 80s Chevy truck

Notice how much shorter the van column is (bottom) both before and after the mounting plate. This gives you more room for the drivers seat

I like this intermedite shaft is done cuz it has all you need in one package. It just needs to be cut an some double D bar wielded on the bottem ujoint and ran up to the damper shaft out and a coupling to attach it for easy disconnect

oil change, and we lubricated the window guides

Michael washed the 80 :flamingo:

transmission fluid drain and fill

well, it's the 80 - it doesn't drip :flamingo: - it's been 3000 miles since we got it, which is when Michael did the first oil change - we didn't do the "baselining" thing, I guess we are "piecemealing" it instead :hillbilly:

Replaced my driver side CV axle and replaced Casey's passenger side CV axle. Thank God for a heated garage! It dumped snow the whole weekend. Yeah, 6 degrees is cold. And KM2's SUCK in the snow! They might be ok in virgin powder but anything that has been compacted is a joke to drive on. Looks like a new set of tires are in my future.

You've got to be kidding me!!! Brian, that is so beautiful. I'm so darn jealous!

All these fluid changes Claudia make me laugh........Hachi drains her self over time and I just have to add some here and there........

Haha.
I don't think i ever performed an oil change on my Jeep Cherokee. It would burn or drip so much oil that it nearly had new oil in it at all times from how much i had to keep adding. I just made a little tray near the battery that held two quarts of oil. Almost every fill up it took 0.5 a quart. haha.
