Thanks Will! We were up past Boulder on the way to Estes Park. About 1.5 hours from my house. I bet that lake will be frozen enough to drive across in another week. Unfortunately, Casey broke his CV while trying to winch through. The whole thing would have been a lot more fun had it been 80 degrees warmer!
I have some family in Estes. My cousin Dale manages a trout pond up there with cabins and such. The place looks beautiful but I've never been.
I think it's time to go see cousin Dale! Think he needs any help out there?

Estes Park! Now that would be a great trip. It sits just outside the gates of Rocky Mtn Natl Park. As Brian's pix show, it's a beautiful part of the country.
Yep, they send me photos all the time. I would also like to visit the Stanley Hotel. Seeing as they moved from Destin up there about 10 years ago and I haven't made it up there yet, I guess I am overdue for a visit.
