The truth?? Because I'm cheap. ;) Well, that and I have seen all the trouble you and Lance are having with your ARB's. My Aussie has never failed me and there are very mixed reviews about using an auto in the front. But like I said, for $250 I think it's worth a shot to see if I can deal with it. If it's that much of a PITA then I guess I will have to shell out real coin.

Now that i think about it, with hubs, its not a bad idea. On the street, 2wd and unlocked hubs it presents no problems.
On the trail, you can run in 2wd low with aussie rear until the hard stuff, then 4LO.
Only real downside i see to it is the ability to turn when in 4lo and you also need to give it some gas as well.

layton, im up for some wrenching. i'm on a new and improved work schedule (mon-wed)
so i have 4 days off every week. let me know!

Sounds good. I'd like to do it on a Thursday. I'd like to do it next Thursday but there is no way my truck will be fixed from Zimmer Gears by then. I'll honestly be surprised if they have opened it and looked at it by then. Keep in mind i am dropping it off Monday morning. :bang:

Yeah, we'll see how it goes. But I did score a set of Nitro Chromoly Axles and birfs that I will have swapped out while the axle is being rebuilt and the locker is installed.

Finished installing my lift :)
Not that you can really tell or see

Ha! I couldn't even get him to help with mine! My daughter was somewhat upset that it came home so dirty. I tried to convince her to clean it so she wouldn't have to drive a muddy vehicle, but that didn't work either.

And yes Mike, I did clean mine mainly because the mud was caked so thick everywhere. I actually used what I rinsed off to fill some holes in the yard!

Started th upgrades to Dually D2s on my roof side and rear lights. Installed more rotopax on my roof rack

Lol. I had the same problem john. No one but me was motivated to clean it.

Matt...looking good.

Kevin, cant wait to see the upgrades.

the shiny red coil overs almost match the unassuming pink axe. ;)

I'm going to go with Erick on this one and "save the ta-tas"

still need to install my shinny black UCAs

Kevin, did you get floods for the sides/rear? Diffused lens? I'll be curious to see them as I'd like to do the same eventually.

Personally, I prefer to "fondle the ta-ta's" but saving them works too. ;)

I just did the bushing replacement on my UCA's. What a forking PITA!!! If you bought the LR UCA's. I hope they have the new ones.

now let's go wheelin!

well you have to save them first, otherwise theres none to fondle

No LRs for me, got in on a group buy for ICON tubular ones. I painted up the bare spots on mine first though, so hopefully no rust like Jason and Brad.

After Ashlee has the baby and heals up we may make a day trip to Sicily to stretch the transfer case legs
