No I bought those a long time ago to put in my Jeep but in the meantime got some 37" tires for the jeep so I got the 80 series wheels from Jordan so I could use these LTBs on the 60

I had a set of those on my 80 that he wound up with. I was just curious if they were my old set. I may have a 5th if I can find it and you are interested. No I bought those a long time ago to put in my Jeep but in the meantime got some 37" tires for the jeep so I got the 80 series wheels from Jordan so I could use these LTBs on the 60

I hope he enjoys them. Purpose built tire for sure. They weren't too bad except when it was cold and then they shook you for the first few miles.Yours wound up in Hot Springs. Some kid got them.
I ordered a 12 pack of 9w LED's on Amazon and used 2 to put underneath the driver and passenger side dash to shed some light on the floorboards. I also installed new 6.5" Polk db Series speakers into the front doors, which sound much better than 25yr old OEM units.
I used the other 10 to mount as rock lights. I've looked into the Vision X kit, but didn't want to spend the coin for something I'm not sure I'll ever use that much. I got the 12pack of LED's and hook mounts for ~$23. I went to walmart and found some cheap S hooks for $1.97 for a pack of 4. Beats the $50 wanted for some rock light mounts that are out there.
Also, I installed Crawlorado's 3M Hood Blackout this afternoon. My stock hood was fading and just didn't look good in general. I also think it will help the glare from my light bar as well. I think it turned out pretty well....don't pay attention to the dents and dings in the hood

Never thought about a rack affecting the "top heaviness" of the vehicle that bad. I am worried that if I am out on this excursion I will A. run out of gas or B. pop two tires and be stuck in the middle of nowhere with just my boys. Those are far reaching scenarios, I know, but I still want to be prepared for trips like these.garvin makes some nice racks...a little pricy, but you pay for what you get...the problem with roof racks and off-roading is gravity...speaking from first hand knowledge...more stuff on the roof, the worse the truck does on the trails...been there, done that with my 60- felt like it was gonna tip over all the time...unless the apocalypse happens, the 80 won't ever have a roof rack on it...

Thanks Eli!Cole- rig is looking sweet...nice job brotha
What is a RTT? In my research, it looks like the mount depends on the size of the rack. Personally, I would like a rack that runs the full length of the roof. Reasons, I do not have a sun roof, eventually I'd like to mount a light bar on the front, and I just like the look of a full rack. In that instance, the gutter mounts seem to be the best solution. If you just want a rack in the back, you can still use the gutter mounts, the bars, or I have even seen them mount directly to the factory luggage rack. Thanks Eli!
I've been looking into RTT's a lot lately and really like the idea of them and think I would get a lot of use out of it. My question is, what is the best way to mount it to the roof? I really don't want to spend $800+ on a roof rack and have been thinking about getting some Yakima/Thule cross bars. Has anyone used these and if so would you recommend 2 or 3 crossbars?
