What is the name of this part?

Could anyone tell me the name of the part in red circle? From my understanding, it's some kind of fuel filter or something related to fuel. This part is from of a 1999 LC with diesel engine.

Your in the wrong forum for this one. Try diesel tech or 100 series tech for a better answer, but yes, that looks like an inline filter that someone has spliced in. Those clear plastic lines definitely don't look factory.

Plus they used worm clamps that definitely aren't factory.
