I run the black unit and I run 19102-61030 rotor that I bought from Toyota. I never heard about a special or certain rotor that you should run.

LS = Lobe Sensing
you need to Run the NON-Anti Over Rev Rotor , one on Left
thank you, I read elsewhere to use the rotor on the left was because it did not interfere with the pertronix unit, can you explain WHY to not use the one on the right? at this point just curious and always learning! assuming maybe the extra metal of the one on the right causes issues with the pertronix unit?
That is not correct.
It works just fine.
You need to replace the rotor.

So this goes back to unit probably being defective.
The LS works just fine in mine.
Did you find an answer to this? I have a 1977 and think this is one I need too. What's the right rotor number? Can never find mentioned in this thread.I have a 19100-61080 dist. Will the 91622LS work in this model too?
19102-45150, retail $14.30. Same rotor for US market 2F distributors from 1/75 through 8/80. Also works with non-US 19100-61080 and even the non-US 3F 19100-61180.Did you find an answer to this? Should work just fine.Reviving an old thread, looking for some answers, planning on purchasing a 19100-61080 distributor from city racer, and putting a pertronix unit in it, and a bit lost, does the LS version work with this unit? I asked city racer directly and they said they don’t have any info on Pertronix. Any direction would be a huge help thanks.
