Removed the brush guard and started inspecting and removing the thickest bondo I have ever seen. Funny, the bondo is so thick it looks like it has geology layers.

Fit was perfect on my truck. Haven’t had a chance to drive it, yet, but I like the way the hood sits up now. I didn’t appreciate how thick they would be.

Comes in a four pack, enough for the whole hood.

Well, haven't done anything this week, but I purchased my FJ40 exactly one year ago today and she was a rusty, non-running mess with a spray can paint job. Still a lot to do to get it where I want it, but she has come a long way. A lot of new sheet metal (floor pans, quarters, rockers, rear bed, wheel wells. Wheels powder coated, new seat covers, door seals/gaskets, new body mounts, shocks, bushings, brakes, birfs rebuilt, lots of basic mechanical to get her running right.

Goal before spring is to replace exhaust manifold gasket and fix a couple leaks. It has been a fun project. Looking forward to driving her all over later this year!
