Have you tried the Jameson Cask Mates distilled in stout barrels? On the rocks, chasing with a beer, all good.

Yes sir I have!

I have got to learn to fab. That looks awesome!

Was having some issues with overheating. Started with flushing the system.
drained the radiator of 10 year old coolant that came out looking like this!

Then crossed my fingers and pulled the engine drain and more lovely green fluid gushed out.

cracked open a beer and counted my blessings!!

Painted windshield frame. Got it installed. Used the yellow zinc as I didn't have any stainless handy.
Moving along... :)

My '64 FST in River Blue is a bit darker, and a few weeks behind yours. I should start bringing loose parts home late this week, the tub is a ways out yet.

I like the idea of the hex bolts better myself. But I may go with original because of the countersink and a lot of anti-seize.. I stripped out several heads removing my windshield frame.

Installed an add-a-leaf to the rear spring pack to beef it up a bit. Perfect so far!

so i've basically been sitting on my hands for the last couple months waiting for my paint guy to get caught up we had another tornado in our town so he has been flooded with insurance work but we had lunch together the other day and he said hes caught up and ready to have my sandblast guy knock off the temporary primer that we had shot on and ready to do a little mud and get to painting the plan has been for years to go with olive 653 and now at crunch time everyone i show this sample to says its the ugliest thing they have ever seen first off i don't even have one cruiser friend that i know in person and only know of one other fj40 than mine in my country so know one really has an eye for the classic colors next thing i'm half color blind anyway so that's the first thing that's brought up when talking colors so i've picked out some other colors that i like gonna try and get some opinions here from my only cruiser friends here are my samples crappy pic but we all know the colors Dune beige, mustard yellow, olive green, and the elusive pollux orange Let me know what you think
