I made poor man's door panels out of ABS plastic for both the driver and passenger doors. It's a pretty clean, yet rugged look. All said and done, it cost about $30 for both sides. That leaves enough to replace the handle housing that is broken in the picture.

While I was at it I decided to replace all of the interior fuel lines, remove and clean below the gas tank, and touch up a few brackets that needed a little paint.

Ordered a trollhole carb because i dont like having to wait 4 weeks to have the stock one rebuilt by jim c. Id rather be driving it while it gets rebuilt!

I've used 1/8" manogony door skins to replace stock hardboard...covered in foam and Vynal for a stock look with superior products.

Racer, they were on there from the original owner and I havent been able to determine what theyre off of.

I put on tires that are way too big and now have to think about t case gearing and axle breakage.... They look cool if thats worth anything.

Happy New Year everyone!!

I installed my Christmas present - a Big Sky Gun Rack, for my AR - no picture - I prefer not to divulge where it's located. I know... 40's are compact and hidden locations are few... but, I did my best.

Then my Son-in-Law and I loaded Gunner and his dog (Hercules) into 44 and drove to Cow Camp, in the Desert National Wildlife Refuge. The spring is not flowing and the wind was quite cold, but the view, from high on the mountain was worth the climb - 44 is down below... as is my Son-in-Law and Herc.:

...a great drive, on a great day... a great start to a New Year!!!

Installed some "New to me" Visors:

Was thrilled to have received a nice box of goodies from @GA_Architect containing some authentic and well cared for "new to me" visors.

Hurried to Lowes to pick up some M6x1.0x20mm stainless stell screws, and began to install my new toys.

Since I recently got my rig running, I've been using it to run errands around town, and quickly noticed how important visors are. I guess you don't realize how critical a component is until you don't have it. Similarily I discovered how much I missed not having a passenger side mirror, but recently took care of that issue.

Thanks @GA_Architect, these are a nice upgrade to my previously naked inner-windshield. Now i can safely drive into the sun without worrying about oncoming traffic.

PS: Don't be jealous of my interior ammenities, Toyota did a very limited offerin to select customers:
1) Oversized rear-view mirror
2) Sunroof with an interior rain feature, to help you feel one with nature
3) Road pull-up bar, for the athletic trevelling executive on the go......

JoyRidaz - Glad to see the OEM visors are being used and not just boxed up sitting on my shelf. As for your pull-up bar, Danny is probably jealous you have an additional bar to hang essentials () from.

Quite!! What I could do with another bar for my unmentionables!!

Danny - What do you know about keeping one eye on the rear view mirror? What you have apparently failed to notice is that my over-dash rear view mirror is angled to present my good side every time I glance up. I find it much more relaxing to admire my beard than the car behind me. Besides, I generally know where I've been...

Heck, the places you go, no need for looking behind you because it's only dust plumes back there anyway. It's probably best you give 100% focus to the front and where you are headed.
