They served a long and productive life of about 54 years, but time and UV rays took their toll. The plastic connectors for the wiper motor had turned yellow so I decided to replace them with new ones from @Coolerman (Parts# F4P6.3 and #M4P6.3). Thank you to Mark for providing such a great resource of electrical components for us to keep these old rigs original. Thanks too for the exceptionally fast service.

I need to fully scratch build a replacement harness, so this is really good to know. I wonder if he's got other connectors as well. I'd like to keep things original looking.

Yes @Coolerman has an amazing assortment of OE type connectors plus factory-correct wire. He will hook you up with whatever you need to build your harness.

Using my 50 year old Navy training, if it doesn't move-paint it, if it does move-wait till it stops and paint it. Rebuilding the engine, sand blast the frame and paint it.View attachment 3663800View attachment 3663801
My only complaint about painting everything black is it takes a little longer to notice when you have a leak. Otherwise, great work! I need to wire brush and paint my frame soon.

Having a little fun w the 40 for the summer........ making it my fishing rig. Nothing permanent here, a vinyl wrap and "hood ornament" going into existing holes in the hood. Also have installed an irish tweed head liner that I'm loving, but have not taken any great pics yet of that. Console is the tweed fabric, that pic taken prior to the headliner install.

I saw that one, but is it only for Holley sniper installs?
I am not 100% sure but when it arrived and I was screwing around with fitting the part… I THINK I grabbed the stock sending unit and screwed it into that fitting …drop them a note to confirm

You’ll need the correct year sending unit. Pic below is a 76 sending unit w/adapter, purchased as I recall from @ToyotaMatt.

Found myself calculating price/length for oem vacuum hose. Instead of deleting, I figured I'd post it here for anyone curious.

Note pricing is based on OEM Toyota parts online via Toyota San Diego.
