What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

Another update. So my cruiser still isn’t going to fit through the opening of the garage. So now I’m going to have to run a 2 1/2in lift. I’ve heard a lot of people using Skyjackers and OME springs. Curious on what you guys run.

Haha, I had the same problem once with the garage opening. Chopped out the header with a chainsaw and installed a new, taller garage door. Very satisfying and I didn't have to modify my cruiser to fit it's sad little storage facility.

Belly laughed…🤣🤣🤣 brought back some memories…Thank you!!

Had a buddy (RIP), commo man w/a “40 pound head”, once built an airplane in his attic. I’ll let you fill in the blanks…

Filled up all the zerts with grease for all the new tie rod ends and the shackles and the rear drive shaft. Looks like I’m missing the zert for the front drive shaft. I will take off one from the old tie rod end and see if it fits.

Only problem is my wife isn’t aware of all the things I’ve been doing to the cruiser because she can care less about it. So for me it’s a lot less noticeable than replacing the header and having to buy two new garage doors so they match each other. If I said it’s for the Land Cruiser that wouldn’t go very well. Thanks for the advice though. I have thought about it but not an option. Thanks

What tie rod ends and shackles did you use? I want to replace mine sooner rather than later…looking for a couple options.

“ You are spending money on this and I don’t know how. I didn’t say s***!

You are wise beyond your years grasshopper. You will go far. 😎

I’ll have to check. Boxes came with the five ends minus the one coming from the steering box. I either ordered from city racer or cruiser corp. Japanese brand that starts with “N”. Shackles came in the Dobinsons kit from @TRAIL TAILOR

Cruiser TEQ has great TRE kits as well as a host of shackles to pick from.

Awesome! Looking to reach that kind of speed on the interstate. Is this a 4 or 5 speed trans? What gears are you running 3.7 or 4.11? Thanks
Carbureted 3F, H41 4-speed, 3.7 gears. Takes a long runway, but it can keep up with traffic once it gets going.

Ironic thing is that I took the picture on the way to drop off the truck to start replacing all of that.

That's great! I plan to use the truck occasionally for a run to Atlanta from Augusta. Just don't want to hold up everybody even in the slow lane, lane, lol. I'm really loving the pictures of what your future plans are for your truck. Keep us posted.

Nice catch! Here’s a few other interior with the gauges.

That's a nice bandeirante with an earlier Toyota front end/bezel (I could be wrong). I'm pretty sure Toyota Japan didn't do any 4-door 40s but I saw a lot of these in Brazil in the 90's but all with square headlights. I also dig the "FULL" gauge ranging from V to C (vazio=empty and cheio=full)
