Similar taste👍 My other half Darlene has a 2003 SC430 that we will be doing some things to. Pretty amazing how well built the SC’s are.

My wife has an SC430 also. "The worst car ever" according to Jeremy Clarkson and the Top Gear tv show. :D

Just how many of you little buggers are there in the Skunk Works...?

Q: How many ToyotaMatts does it take to change a light bulb?

A: One to change the bulb, and four more to take 173 hi-res photographs of the new bulb and installation to post on Mud. :grinpimp:

Very nice work sir! Not to hijack but does anyone know if the radiator shroud when new was yellow zinc plated from the factory? The one on my ‘78 appears that way but on my ‘76 it appears that someone painted it black. Maybe John @Living in the Past or one of our other experts can shed some light on this👍 Happy Thanksgiving to all my mud brothers!

Thank you, just getting back online after Turkey day. I painted it Duplicolor Engine Enamel gold because I found traces of gold on it when I was cleaning it up. That was a while ago before I learned about the factory plating, which is probably what it was originally. This has been a rainy, dreary holiday weekend, so I started an inside project. Decided to install the @Cruiser Corps seat covers. I had a bout of indecision on whether I wanted the black or the grey... no problem! Cruiser Corps solved the dilemma:

I must say that I dislike hog-rings. Not a fan. But it turned out reasonably well, better than the green bus-seat vinyl that was on there before! The grey is almost black, this is a very subtle two-tone, and I think I like it. I temporarily reinstalled the rear jump seat belts that the PO moved to the front when he removed the hard top. I'll get some 3-point belts soon, and then I can save the OEM rear belts, YAY! Now I just need jump seats :hmm:

Got up way too early with the 1 year old so started cleaning switches and knobs for their impending reinstall. I’m sure my wife will need to run to hobby lobby for something soon so a white and red fine top paint pen are now added to the list.

Best product for filling engraved knobs is called Laquer Stick. Widely available, reasonably priced.
I didmy knobs a while back and it worked great. Crayon it into the letters, then wipe off with a paper towel. Wipe a second time with a rag damp with laquer thinner and they look amazing.
Once you have them you’ll find other fun uses for them. !

Why are so many of those mags empty?!

Have you tried to buy ammo lately???

Actually not my pic. My mags are all full and not nearly so varied in caliber.

Yea, been really hard finding ammo. The places I’ve found that do have it usually have a 2 box limit too. One thing I found funny in the beginning of the rush on ammo, you could really tell what calibers were popular. I remember going in one store and seeing the typical 9mm, .380, .40, .45, etc were all cleaned out but they had every box of .357 sig left.

My son @SipLife wanted some senior pictures.

Glad to see you passing down the passion for Toyota trucks!

We are a Toyota family. We love cruisers. Have a few. Hilux is one of our good outliers. The little truck that could!!!

I was able to get the under dash light working ( I know, I know...picture to come later). Must have worked on that for at least 10-12 minutes. Needed a rest so I drove it to the grocery to get the ingredients for seafood/sausage gumbo.
