Finally got my HFJ45 (FJ45 with H diesel transplant, sort of) off the farm and down to my storage. I'll be able to start the (now longer) job of getting back on the road.
Never ceases to amaze me the utter cretinism displayed by some tow truck operators and car carrier companies.

When your going to winch a 4X4 with 2 flat tyres(on opposite corners) onto a tilt tray, wouldn't you think to make sure the hub locks are unlocked, the transfer box is in neutral and the hand brake is off?? I might add that the truck does start and drive but its a farm truck so its a little complicated.
Tow truck driver didn't want to listen about starting instructions too much of a hurry to get somewhere else.

The Car carrier wasn't any better, didn't bother to pump the tyres up or (as instructed) unlock the hubs and shift the transfer to neutral. Then whine about how long it took to load coz the brakes must be locked.. no its in 4wd lo with the hubs locked and the hand brake on.:whoops: Can't tell some people.
Now I have to wait till Sunday (when I have some time to myself) to see what the damage to the transmission/diffs/axles/birfields are.

If I'd known how much aggravation I'd go through employing professional bozos, I would have taken a day off work hired a trailer and truck, and picked the truck up myself.
Hey it only took them 3 weeks to do the job (truck was 2 1/2 hrs away), but at least I've now got my truck where I can work on it.
My next project (after the HFJ) will be to build a car trailer so I won't be at the mercy of brain dead drongos...
