Damn you boys don't fool around.

In the last week or so...

Installed new Interstate 27F battery from Costco
190k oil change (Kirkland 5w30)
All new headlight bulbs
Cleaned all connectors in kick panels
Installed a new cowl grille (p/n 55708-60101)

Super easy install. 1-banana job.

I also want to drain and fill ~5qt in the transmission, flush power steering fluid, and rotate tires before this weekend.

Cleaned out a bit under the car and applied a few cans of grease and wax to stop the rust for this winter.
I also found while doing this one of my next summer projects since it looks like my front diff is leaking a little bit. But as far as I can see it doesn’t come from the shafts itself but also not from the engine area. Who knows so far the car drives as so-so as always…..

Btw I found out today even if there are the wholes for it the manual shifter doesn’t come with the crash bar under the transmission since it is only to safe this little oil pan on the automatic ones.

As you see it is pretty oily… maybe I will check the oil level next week…

Odyssey 31M with a Slee mount installed... been a busy day!

Make sure and top off that AGM with a battery charger on a regular basis. OEM alternator won't provide the ideal charging profile for the AGM. I have the same battery, 2.5 years old and last I checked it had about 60% life remaining.

Thanks! Does the Slee dual battery system(charger) fix that? I am installing that next week when I get some time.

Slee is usually pretty good about knowing what works best, i.e. if your LC has a smart alternator that will work on an AGM. Also where you got the battery from. Heat may be an issue, and there is a lot of info on threads in this forum about dual batteries and AGMs.

His truck has a temp compensating alternator, not smart.
There is a diode hack for pre facelift models which won't work on his 2021.
His AGM battery is from Odyssey which is one of the best and one that Slee installs in their builds. I've never had any heat issues with Odyssey AGM's.
Slee offers a few dual battery kits - IMHO the better ones use the Redarc chargers. Regardless, they are not going to top off starter AGM battery to its desired 14.7 volts. That is dependent on your alternator.

I talked to Christo on this at Cruisers on the Rockies in July/Aug. When my starter AGM goes out, I'll probably go back to SLA. Wish the OEM Panasonics were available stateside, it's a great long life battery.

My solution uses a Noco dual charger that tops off the starter battery. Shore power connection under the front bumper. I've observed that aux battery is usually already topped off (from the Redarc DCDC, unlike the starter battery which usually takes overnight to top off). I plug it in every few weeks.

Edit - hit save too soon.

As @rherrco points out - lots of threads on here about AGM's.
Pic of my setup.

Thanks for the info, I have Noco charges on all of my other vehicles since they sit for long periods of time as the LC is my DD. Ill add one to this vehicle also.

My ‘19 200 got a new friend which will be my daughter’s first car. She can start driving in 6 months for those that know her from LCDC! Crazy! Super clean, CA life. ‘09.

How did you attach the awning and skinny warrior to the factory roof rack?
