Not sure it would really help or not. The lower control arms on the FJ Cruiser were notorious for the cam seizing up, thus requiring the lower control arm to be replaced to be able to do and alignment correctly. Once they are seized, I think you are pretty much screwed. Assuming the design is similar to the FJ Cruiser. And I tried using penetrating oil for a month to see if mine would free up on the FJ Cruiser. No dice. Kind of a poor design. Your best best is to put a crap ton of marine grade grease in there when putting them together or installing them and hope for the best. Or load them up with anti-seize. I believe MOOG was coming out with a replacement lower control arm for the FJ Cruiser that would have a grease fitting or two to allow you to grease it and not have to replace the lca every other year. lol Don't know if Moog ever came to market with them though.
How hard are the LCAs to take out on the Land Cruiser? On the FJ Cruiser you have to take a torch and burn them out.
Mine was easy once we took off the lower arm. Doing it still on the vehicle takes longer and still may not come off. I think it took about an hour and a half of beating on the vehicle, but once off 20 min. Just remember to open the KDSS bleeders or you will not be able to get the sway bar link back in.
