Those look like Toyo muds(?).

Will be interested to hear impressions on/off road.
I've been running the Toyo MT for almost 2 years. Those 295s probably have 40k miles on them. I ran them for about a year on my 100 (running Colorado trails and Appalachian trails) then switched them over to the 200 this July. They have exceeded all of my expectations. They handle great and noise isn't bad for an MT. They wear amazingly well on the highway. I could have probably got another 20-30k out of them if I wouldn't have totally thrashed them on my last 11k road trip that saw 2.5 weeks of trials in Colorado and 1.5 weeks of trails in Moab. Even after that I did 4 days of trails at ATR. Spinning all 4 tires in rock gardens on a heavy, built 200, is a heck of a test for a tire.
Ive ran a lot of tires. Groundhawgs, TSLs, Boggers, SSRs, Wrangler MTRs, Ko2s, Cooper ST Max and Pros, Nitto Trail Grapplers... nothing compares to these. Its like what you would get if a KO2 and a Swamper TSL got together and had a kid with the kid getting all of their positive traits and none of the bad. I highly recommend them.

They do ok at 80+ on the highway?

I don't even notice them above 70. Windnoise tends to drown them out. Handling and feel at speed is no different than an AT in my opinion.

They are great tires on and off road. Just remember they are a heavy tire though.

Ya, about 4lbs heavier than my already-heavy Ridge Grapplers...

I had that tire in that size for about 4 years and it hooked up great and worked well off road. I have also run Toyo ATs without any issue and had great. However, they did however pull to the right like crazy on road! It was ridiculous and frustrating. I had it aligned multiple times each time they said all looked good but still it pulled, hard. I dealt with it for 50k+ miles. But, I recently swapped to KM3s and I would have a hard time ever going back to a Toyo MT. But fair warning, this is only my experience and my opinion.

I had mine well over 100 (both on road and off road) with no notable issues not that I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been running Toyos for years. First MTs on my 80, then ATs on my 100. I just swapped out my current set of AT's for the newer Toyo ATIII a couple of weeks ago and couldnt be happier. I have never experienced pulling. @paul r did you have the same issue after rotating? If it was a tire it should have changed from a pull to the right to a pull to the left, at least that makes sense to me. I did have a similar pull on a different vehicle and it turned out the rim was bent very slightly

I am sold on Toyo and will continue to stick with them

Not sure which test but one of them produced a large puddle under the truck. Looks like maybe from the filler tube. Will investigate in the morning. Moana calls

I did rotate my tires consistently and had continual issues pulling right regardless of rotation. I saw the spec each time it was aligned and everything was in good shape. In talking with others they told me it was the Toyo MT and I had a hard time believing it, until, I swapped to another tire and it tracks straight as an arrow with no other change. Maybe I had a defective batch? I did really like them off road.

I don't mean to hate on Toyo. I hope my experience is not common. I also really liked the ATIIs that I had in the past.

It would seem pretty odd for a particular model to pull one direction. Would think it’s likely some other issue that maybe showed up more clearly on that set... ?

Maybe so. FWIW, there are a ton of results on google for Toyo MTs pulling right. Seems to be a relatively common issue. All I can give is my experience. Again, not trying to talk anyone out of them just caused enough frustration for me I figured I would chime in.

Just another front bumper.

Input is helpful.
Just seems odd.
I wonder...since most roads slope toward the right toward run-off gutters, etc...if maybe people tend to just notice it more when they switch to mud tread or something... ?

Well known issue with Toyo MTs pulling to the right. I had them about 9 years ago in a 285/75/17 on my Ram. I had the pulling issue too.

They were by far the most expensive tire I've ever bought in my life. $400 a pop back then, and also the heaviest at like 80lbs each. No other tire in the market looked as bad@ss as they did with the sidewall, and relative AT road manners. Loved them, and have not had a off-road tire that matched it since. However I would trade some characteristics for an AT for the heaviness and pulling I had. I was at 45k miles and still had like 9/32nds left of tread before I sold them. This was back in a time where the average At tire looked like a tame highway tire.

Wow, funny to think back though 9-10 years ago when I had Toyos and Methods. Method wheels had only launched 1 or 2 months prior by a bunch of guys at KMC wheels and was relatively unknown and I think I had to be one of their first couple hundred customers. They had one wheel design, the MR301, in black or silver and they cost me $135 shipped each for 17s. And their forged 17s were $280 each.

Hmmm.
Interesting.
Turns out a local buddy of mine just added a set up tgem to his 200... @Mogwai ...so I’ll have a chance to see for myself soon. Will post up when I do.

Maybe they fixed it with the changes shown at the link. I never noticed it. I am running 33.4" tires. Wonder if bigger tires rubbing can cause an issue. I do appreciate your feedback and don't discount it. Glad I have never experienced it

Nor should you. The highest Speed Rating for any 17" or 18" Toyo MT tire is Q (99 mph) and a lot of the sizes only have a Speed Rating of P (93 mph).

Love that rack! I am trying to figure out if that would work with my idea of occasionally mounting Thule crossbars on that. The Rhino accessory bars are not long enough for my application. I think I can mount the Thule bars on the Rhino but need to know overall height after. So I have a request.. Can you measure the height from the top of the cruiser to top of rack. If you measure at the center that would give me an idea. Thanks!
