35x12.5R20s ordered. I blame this on you @tbisaacs !

Was wavering between Falkens and Toyos. It was not an easy decision but I ordered Toyo AT3s. It came down to a few things:
1) Price - Toyos were actually significantly cheaper, at least in 35x12.5r20 sizes. Was able to find them at a ~25% better price. Searching google shopping directly, led to even better price links at Walmart, that weren't available if searched at Walmart directly. Free ship.
2) Falken AT3Ws look like they're experiencing a supply chain issue with covid, and are getting an inline update of rubber compound (read cheaper compound). The previous ones were likely an incrementally better tire than the Toyo AT3s, as backed up by prof tire tester comments. After the change, AT3s are probably at the top of the AT tire competitive set.
3) I like to try different tires. AT3s have their work cutout for them as I truly enjoyed the Falken AT3Ws

Looking forward to pictures and your perspective.

I don’t have a garage or work bench in the city. Luckily Landcruiser helps that

Replaced a broken fuel door spring. Part number 77360-35040.

Anyone watching me go back and forth 3-4 times between the gas pump and drivers door attempting to pop the fuel door might have assumed I was high.

Started phase 1 of my 2013 LC200 upgrades... added the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 285/65's and blacked out all the chrome. Went with plastic dip on the chrome and will test the durability of it on the stock Toyota wheels. Will upgrade to TRD or Icon wheels later, but wanted the look now.

Next up: headlights/assembly and the 12 inch Tesla like center console in the next few weeks. Followed by Rhino EV0 3 front bumper and suspension upgrade+lift sometime in the fall.

I added an InReach Explorer + and the A Pillar Mount. I’m not sure I like the mounting location, but will give it a go.
How much of a blind spot does that create? I need to find a solution to mount a yeasu 400 and I’ve seen these mounts but it’s hard to really judge without being behind the wheel. How is your radio just below that mounted?

Didn’t waste too much time! I’ve officially joined the club with this 2008, 135k miles, Great service history from Toyota. Brakes recently done, water pump, serpentine, radiator flush, good history of oil changes. I’ll still give it the once over and make sure its 100%.

Congrats on the purchase!

Cheers,

Looks mean. Looking forward to following your upgrades.

Crossed the 100k mark! In celebration of 100k a seized alignment cam turned into replacing just about the entire front end. A "while I'm in there" fix was to replace the worn out OME suspension. Decided to give the Ironman suspension a try. I went with the nitro charger kit as I didn't see the need for the foam cell pro's. Initial impressions are great. Not super soft, but firm and I don't mind that at all. For UCA I went with SPC because I've had great success with them in the past on other vehicles. The springs are the "B" springs which are the lightest springs that provide lift. Eventually I'll need beefier rear coils, drawers and rear bumper are coming soon. My tires are looking a bit small now so 285 70R18 are in my future. Also waiting for my adjustable track bar to come in. The rear axle is a bit off center at the moment.

Parts replaced:
-UCA and LCA
-Struts, Shocks, Springs, Strut Mounts
-Tie Rod Ends (Inner and Outer)
-CV Axles
-Sway bar links and bushings

Time for spark plugs. Liking the engine bay lighting. No more need to do the ceremonial hanging of the shop light underhood.

There is a big part of me that wants to hop in the truck and drive that direction. I’m only about 7 hours away. How long are you there?

Nicely done, @Mendocino ...
If you’re not sure you like the location/obstruction, you might consider swapping up for down with a RAM mount that splits to two... I put my inreach in the lower position since it mostly beacons and I rarely adjust it...

@Artie ... This also includes the Yaesu. Very happy with location as I can poke screen and buttons while still holding on to the steering wheel... Note the additional extension for my phone mount too... Very happy with this arrangement/visibility.
