I upgraded all my flexible brake lines with extended-length, stainless braided lines from Crown Performance. I also flushed the brake system with fresh fluid. My brakes feel a bit more responsive/firm.
Now to go CRV hunting....(like @TonyP).....
I'm really imagining you and @TonyP sitting in your 200s, with old safari hats on, looking at a group of CRVs by a watering hole, with binoculars and British accents.

HA! That's hilarious!
[In a british accent]...Right, Chap. There's one there. The red one. It's looks weaker than the rest. Now go on - get out there and make a good show of it. Remembah, no hesitation. Just get out there - get in front of it and stand on those bloody brakes! He'll hit your backside and you'll have a new bumpah in no time at all.
there was 20 year old kid in Kia Soul tailgating me the other night and I looked in
my rear view and saw him staring down fiddling with his phone presumebly texting... thought to myself, "here's my chance for a new bumper" but I couldn't do it. This was also on the highway and we were doing 75. A country road doing 40-45 is the sweet spot.

That was the second question I asked after I got hit "You've got insurance, right?". The first question was much more succinct and rather rhetorical in nature all while being very politically incorrect.
They are pretty much the only choice in 17x8. Everything else in 17" 5x150 is some combination of wider, heavier, a lower load rating, or the wrong offset.
There is an OEM Toyota cast 17x8 alloy but it was never sold in North America and they run about the same price as the Rock Warriors before shipping.

That's really the crux of the matter. The RW's aren't just for show. They're the real deal. I tried for almost two weeks to talk myself out of wanting them, but to no avail. I was close to putting 285/65s or 275/70s on the stock wheels, but three new RWs popped up locally on eBay so I bit and that was all she wrote. To complete the set and get them on my rig I bit the bullet and ordered the remaining two from a local dealer. Was it an impulsive decision? Without a doubt. Will I be okay with it once they are installed? I'm thinking I will.
I think the run was 300 or 400, some of the bigger dealers probably grabbed 30-40 each
I've been on a buying spree for Canguro Racing, we can pretty much only run the RW's due to suspension logistics and strength, the RW's are a tough wheel! However desert racing us hard in everything and we loose about a wheel a race lol.

A few years back, Joe Bacal, the previous owner of Monica was selling off his "left over" rock warriors for $150 a set....
I wish I had bought all he had....hindsight 20/20 and all.
