I picked up a few tools last week, used my 1200GSA as a tool bench and got to work. Certainly amateur level here, but I think it turned out alright.

My take at lockable cargo drawers. All in, $328. Functional for sure and it even fits perfectly inside my Weathertech cargo mat.

Then stayed behind after closing time to do a quick 5 minute oil change on the 200 which lasted 2 hours. I'm quite stubborn and wasn't settling for half an oil service. hammered the socket until the housing loosened and tightened it back on through the filter drain cover once tight I hit the small tab on the side of the metal housing to make sure it was fully tight. I marked the side of the housing and the lines matched up once fully tight.
 
So what BMW is that motor from, and why does it need a rebuild?

E24 635csi it's going through a full restoration, the bore was slightly out of round and the head needed facing and some welding.
