Noticed the battery indicator start to drop, called husband, who assured me truck would shortly die, then truck died, but not before I got off of I-70.

Had a wonderful young man, Devin, install an alternator and battery so I could be on my way. On a Sunday. What a great guy. He even towed my raft trailer back to the shop, Augie's, in Hays, KS.

Now I'm back on the road to pick @beno up at DIA tonight to start honeymoon in CO/UT. Can't wait to hit the river!

Thanks!

Eight days on rivers then we are leaving the trailer in Moab and he is taking me into the mountains. We are each excited to see the West in ways we never have. Should be a great couple weeks.

I had a sever case of Kruiser lean. Two inches measuring from hub to wheel well arch between the passenger and driver side. Cranked the torsion spring bolt seven complete turns to get it within a quarter inch. I’m happy with that.

I’m so pleased with how easy this was to fix. Thank you Mr.T! Here’s to another 370k!

I also installed a new stereo, pioneer AVH-2300NEX. Seems to be a great unit with Apple car play.

Anyone have a suggestion for rear view camera? I’d like something with good video quality and night vision.

Get a Kenwood, the Pioneer ones I've had lasted just a year each.

Built a sleeping platform for those cold nights out hunting when I’m just too tired to set up camp. Thanks to @TheAshenWolf for the inspiration. SIA for the crappy iPhone pics but that’s about all I use these days.

New OEM shocks all around. Couldn't get the rear nuts loose, had to use a hole saw. Impact wouldn't budge them. Had to use a breaker bar and tourue them till the shaft yielded. Off to find some hole plugs now.

started to leather wrap the old wood chipped steering wheel. Instructions said to used tape, I'm going to un do the non perf section at 12 oclock where it's showing the tape out line and remove the tape.

Tip, start at the corners and don't try to end there, make a seam somewhere in the middle. This should wrap it tighter on the turns.

1 banana job, just takes time to stitch, a curved needle would be ideal.

Do you have a link to the wrap you purchased and a wider shot?

Yesterday I did half the wheel but with the double sided tape, with the leather thickness and stretched over, I can see the outline of the tape and was driving me bit crazy. I wanted to sleep on it before making the choice to remove it and start over or F it and let it be. Since its something I will see EVERY single time in the truck, I un did the half wrap job from yesterday. Aided with some Goop Off, the double sided tape was easy and I still have skin on my thumbs.

I should have it finished tomorrow, luckily the truck isn't my daily at the moment with high cali gas prices.

Here's the kit I order.

Took it on a 6 day camping trip with the 3 kids and 2 dogs on the Chetco River. Used a soft cargo carrier up top for gear that didn't fit inside, loaded the LC down more than ever before but it was a champ. No tables, no water, and no shade so needed a bunch of extra gear. Yeah, the dutch oven is the way to go, made a chicken curry, beef stew, pancakes, mac and cheese, hamburgers, spaghetti, bacon and eggs, pretty much every meal in it. The poor LC, dirtiest its ever been, inside and out coated in dust, didn't skip a beat. Got to 101 degrees on Sunday, drove 15 miles to the coast and it was low 60's. That's the Oregon Coast for you! My recent coolant and heater T replacements worked 100%, kept an eye on things, and it drained the overflow tank as air got out of the system. Bought another gallon of Red coolant to refill the overflow.

Well I was able to clean up the bumper a little today. The previous owner decided it would be a good idea to hide some scuff marks on either corner of the bumper by brushing on some sort of grayish color to hide the scuff marks. By doing so they basically brushed from under the headlights around to the sides of the bumpers!:bang:
Long story short I found while removing my pinstripes with lacquer thinner I tried a little on the bumper and to my surprise it took the paint off with a little elbow grease. One pint of lacquer thinner later the ugly paint is all gone and now I can see what I have to work with. I will likely sand down the scuff marks and spray over the corners with color matched paint, then clear. I'll probably live with them awhile and see how bad they are maybe I won't feel the need to do it right away.
Either way it 100x better than it was..

Awesome! This is EXACTLY what I was planning on doing! How many did you end up doing?
Just two bars as CVT said that is all I needed. Used some 1x2 rectangle tubing and 4 mounting plates for each bar. 2 that we’re welded to each end of the bar and 2 that had bolts welded to them that slid into the inside of the factory rail.
