i was trying to get it up to 75 for the 75k shot
I'm about to turn 130k, I suspect even downhill with a tailwind I'd not be able to hit 130 mph... :)

Installed an ARB compressor. I am going to add some water resistant shrink tubing to the wiring soon. Mostly to make it look a little tidier.

And a TJM Pro Locker in the front end. Gonna take it up to Big Bear and test it out in a few days.

My girlfriend gets employee pricing at all other manufacturers of the conglomerate of dealers she works for. Timing belt, water pump. cam seals, crank seal and all radiator hoses was $473. I literally couldn't even buy OEM parts for that. I'm at that point in life with work and activities it's easier and makes more sense financially to just have the work performed at the Toyota dealership.
ahem - OEM means; Original Equipment Manufacturer

Scan-guage II real-time monitoring in effect. Mounted on upper center console. Great view. Steelie mount kit for HAM radio mic. Solid. Inspired by @RobRed

Amazon purchase. Will send you a link. It's held up pretty great over the years

I wrenched on my cruiser for the first time and put some Slee Step Sliders on. Not only good for the trails, but they were a request from my girlfriend and mom.

Drove to a soccer game.

But then, my next door neighbor brought over his new-to-him 4R Trail, which was the exact same one I had. I'd like to take some credit for this, because I let him drive mine a few years ago, and then he drove our 2002 LC on the trail 2 months ago...

The bug got him!

We had a geek sesh in the driveway, and there is Katie presenting all the Toyotas...

Hit a baby doe at 55mph tonight...No damage to the truck thankfully, the bumper caught the entire impact. As you can see from the photo it was a long dark country road even with all my lights on. Jumped out of no where and unfortunately didn't have time to even slow down. I got to give it to Mike on this one though, Bump It Off Road for the win and it was awesome to see that there wasn't even a chip in the powdercoat! The left front shackle mount that sticks out from the bumper actually cut the deer from the rear hip backward. Hope its not too crude of an image but ya know, pics or it didn't happen am I right?

Peanut our FJ40 needed a friend, so we now have a 100 series to add to our collection!

This truck was bought new by my neighbors, then one of our local land cruiser club members bought it. Now it's mine, and back in the hood.
I received all the service records and original paperwork. The only thing I need now is a Master remote key.

Then I decided to tackle the peeling wood trim, and cleaned up the center console.

(I found gallons of coffee that had spilled on the console over the years. )

Never owned a 100, it drives like a dream!

Swapped out all the stock door speakers with some pioneers. Sounds great!

Just ordered my lift from Slee!

Parked an 80 (borrowed from a mudder on vacation to measure for KISS drawers) next to my hundy and the Land Shark and just smiled... if only my wife didn't love her Tundra so much ;)

Panicked this morning after dropping my daughter off at daycare when the passenger window would roll back up. Tried the drivers side and it wouldn't go down, so I went home to try and diagnose the problem searching through the mud forum and Google. Decided th ground wire on the drivers side switch was bad and started to remove the door panel. When I popped the drivers side switch panel out, the plug also came loose. That's when I realized there was nothing wrong with my Cruiser, just me. I apparently didn't clip the connectors in place after I replaced the speakers a couple weeks ago and it had worked its way out gradually. Problem solved but wondering what simple mistake I will make upon the completion of my next project, installing some LED spots in the stock bumper cutouts.

Timing belt/water pump service and an oil change. In the rain. Poured all day on Sunday, then as soon as I go back to work today... Sunny and 70°.
