Haven't posted in a bit-

Since spring, I've installed Tough Dog shocks on all 4 corners... massive fan. I like them better than the Dobinsons and Ironman (foam cell pro) I had on before-
Went with the regular foams up front and their adjustables in the rear. The adjustable rear is incredible- has completely changed how the rig drives. I also went with their plated panhard bar for some added Gucci-ness. If you're considering Tough Dog, just do it!! I'm happy to answer any questions. (Not sponsored just stoked)

Dobinsons adjustable rear lower arms went on about 3 weeks later. 2nd rig I've but them on. An obvious choice to me, but if I had the budget the Trail Tailor units would be on there.

Same week, I took a little rip over hwy 133 to Profitt's and picked up a set of 16" chrome -11's. Offset barely works with 33's (rubs heavy when wheeling, but hey, tires are consumables, right?). Thought it'd be a fun way to run this set of tires until I pop 17's/35s on this winter.

Other than that, wheeling every weekend and not posting about it on social media! haha
Dobinsons IMS is what I have been considering for replacing the ironman nitros that were on the truck when I bought it but now I suppose I'll check out the tough dog option

Developed terrible sound coming from the rear left wheel. Pulled the wheel checked out pad, all good, thought it was parking break falling apart. Ordered shoes also decided to get new rotors and pads while on sale and since I'll be already in there. Good thing I did, when I pulled the rotor, the inner pad was down to the metal and chewed up the back side of the rotor. Turned out it was a seized pin. Took me 30 min to hammer that damn pin out, I thought I was going to break something. Luckily I was abler to get it out, cleaned and lubed. Adjustment wheel was seized too. Whoever did the breaks probably never lubricated anything in there. Not only that, one of the retaining clips, pin and the spring were missing altogether!?!?! Currently waiting on a brake kit from O'reilly to finish the job, should be here in an hour (fingers crossed).

O'reilly came trough. Probably the longest brake job I've ever done, but it's all done now! Nice and smooth, handbrake is much better too. All OEM parts with the exception of the missing clip/spring/pin. While waiting for missing parts, painted the caliper covers with high heat paint, lol.

My project seem to be moving slow but I had a burst of motivation this week. Engine is almost done, just installed cam seals, crank seal water pump and all necessary parts. I even painted some parts to give it a fresh look.

Have you tried Surface Shield? I saw that it is a similar formula to FluidFilm being Lanolin based.
I have not, and since I use bulk FluidFilm I have a fair amount left to go through. FF works well for me, I have no need to change.

Got the wolfbox g900 tripro dialed in as it takes some getting used to. I ended up needing a custom mount from Lumberjack Engineering to get the drop needed to clear the Ben3d ScanGauge 3 mount. I also opted to mount camera inside the vehicle and found that getting it as close to the rear glass as possible cut the glare.

I ran the fuse tap to the ignition fuse in driver footpanel as the OBD port is used for the ScanGauge. Really like the setup!

I was planning on doing the Wolfbox myself since my rearview distorts everything around. Any complaints?

I've been very pleased after my eyes adjusted to the screen vs mirror display. Hardest part for me was determining the right mounting position for the rear camera which in my case was as close to the rear class as possible angled just slightly down. Occasionally the startup will revert to the tricamera view vs backup, but that may be a firmware issue that works it's way out.

Replaced the steering shaft and all bushings, eliminating a clunk felt through the wheel over expansion joints on road and rough off road. Huge thanks to @Ayune for the detailed write-up that made this straightforward (How To: Replace your Upper Steering Column Shaft - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/how-to-replace-your-upper-steering-column-shaft.1063475/). Replaced the upper bracket assembly containing the ignition rod prophylactically while everything was apart, no evident wear on the old one but at least now I'm familiar with the process.

Rocking an eBay steering wheel from Taiwan while I figure out recovering the old one:

Replaced the rusted transmission cooler hardlines, they were still structurally sound upon removal but more shiny parts = better.

Installed a junkyard AC condenser fan, waiting on the plug and pigtails before wiring it into the pressure switch:
