Going to throw this out there (I know it's been mentioned a bunch but thought I'd share).

I had my Check Engine Light, VSC TRAC and the VSC off came on. I pulled the codes listed in this order:

0300 - General Misfire
0301 - Misfire #1 Cylinder
0304 - Misfire #4 Cylinder

Figured it was a coil pack but first wanted to swap out the spark plugs just in case. I ended up grabbing some of the NGK Iridiums from Autozone. They are pre-gapped so you don't need to worry about that.

I changed the plugs and voila!!! No need to order another coil pack. The plugs don't look too bad, and #5 looked worse than #1 or #4. :hhmm:

For those that might be looking, I priced a Denso Coil Pack from Rock Auto for $59.00 + 5.00 shipping.

On the road again. (91,686 miles)

From a few weeks ago when the brakes went out . . .

And then - thanks to @beno - got one of these for a serious discount . . .

Installed wheel spacers: 1.25" front and 1.0" rear.

So far I'm OK with the wider look, the tire rub on the front shock reservoir has been eliminated, and I am enjoying the difference I feel in the suspension.

Replaced all 4 tires. Moved the best tire that I replaced to the spare (it was in bad shape and the rear tires were still in decent shape). Now I need an OME 2.5" lift... ok... I don't "need it" but I want one :)

They look great. Are they the new ko2 at's?

They are. I like them. They are a good balance between daily driver and something for off road.

Well from my experience, you won't be needing tires for a loooooooooong time.

Good choice, they are the best all around tires in my opinion!

Are these snowflake rated? That was my only beef with the old k/os, not great in the snow.

Finally got a chance to start on the CV boot replacement on my '01, inspect the rest of the front end a little closer, and gave the torsion bars 3 turns on the adjusters. CVs are still in good shape depsite the torn boots, ball joints are ok despite the torn boots, and sway bar bushings are shot. I'm planning to install a lift next spring, so that stuff can wait until then. This was my first CV boot job and I had no idea what a mess that goop is...ugh. I sold my parts washer years ago and I sure do miss it. :(

Changed the oil & filter, sprayed Teflon into the UCA rod end, shot all hinges & hood latch with white lithium grease, and sprayed a couple cans of Fluid Film underneath.

Finally pulled the trigger on some 33's. Moving the old general grabber at2's out and moving some Kelly Safari tsr in. Going from 275/65/18 --> 275/70/18. Gonna order some 865's to go with em. Finally making her a little more MINE.
