If you’re referring to the actuators, they weren’t too bad to re-seal when I did them. That was two years ago and they’re still going strong (knock on wood). I think I remember using a wood clamp to hold them together while the epoxy set.How hard was it to re seal?
Replaced the heater tees with metal versions referenced on the forum.

Doing research tonight to try and figure out the sluggish acceleration issue.

Oh yeah mine were so crusty and after replacing it purrs like a mountain lion.Pretty amazing what a new set of spark plugs will do. I’m pretty sure mine were original to the rig 25 years ago. It only has 72,000 miles on it and the plugs I pulled were Denso iridium plugs so it seems probable that the plugs were stock.
Coil packs look fine but the plugs definitely seemed ready for replacement. They were all a little looser than spec but nothing super loose. An hour later the truck runs great. Hesitations and misfires seem to be resolved.
sucks on the critters chewing through wiring, pretty sure I am dealing with this on a 94 sc400 with the 1UZ. Went in and replaced the knock sensors and thought I had problem figured out. Briefly looked at wiring on both sensors, looked good so slapped on all the intake parts. Car still throws knock sensor codes and studders/misfires.. I do remember seeing mouse droppings in v8 Valley, should have removed starter and inspected all the wiring........Do you have part number for k&n air filter tube you used?about a month ago had some rats partying under the hood of my LX470. They went straight for the knock sensors. Didn't even know I had a problem until I dropped my son off at daycare and had an unexpected check engine light come on on the way home.
Both knock sensors had been chewed on, and only one had the wires completely chewed through. I ended up replacing all of the clips and connectors and quite a bit of the harness. Figured I'd do the starter at the same time while I was in there.
At the end, I also installed a K&N intake tube to replace the resonance chambers on the factory unit. Mild difference noticed by the butt dyno. Just feels a little better paired with the Doug Thorley headers and catback exhaust.

I feel for ya. I traced wiring as far as I could behind the motor to avoid. Here's the part number for the intake I used from the K&N website.sucks on the critters chewing through wiring, pretty sure I am dealing with this on a 94 sc400 with the 1UZ. The cabin air filters were “optional equipment” from the dealership in the Land Cruiser all the way to 2007. Unless it was selected by the original owner, these were by default, not included. As others have mentioned, why didn’t this come installed from the factory on some cruisers?!
One slides in and then drops down. The other slides in and rests on top. Is that what you maybe are missing??Bought 2 filters for my 2000 LX, but when I went to swap them found only room enough for 1. Am I missing something? I would assume they'd be in the same housing together but never went looking for pics or diagrams.
