Replaced the rear lower control arms with the SPC’s. Not sure if these are the originals. 325,000 miles on the truck and bushings don’t look just horrible.

Found the culprit of the clunk in the front end, that lower arm bushing is shot.View attachment 3151857
If this was you, would you go to re-bush or full lower arm assembly replacement?
Those are the AU links. Order it from suspension.com. Much faster shipping
Got it. Much appreciated sir. Those are the AU links. Order it from suspension.com. Much faster shipping![]()
Thanks for mentioning that, I ordered one for $317 including shipping, not bad at all compared to cost of oem + shippingperhaps an ASFIR gas tank skid would be more palatable (cost wise)?
Refreshing to see a build getting finished in short time! This doesn't look like your first rodeo!
Maybe 1000 miles if you're running Baja 1000 type miles. Otherwise that's nuts.
I'm finding as I am (continuing the process of)going through my truck that some stuff is just... tired. And that's OK. Quarter million miles or so is still a lot, even if it's a Yota. In your case- probably just a weak spot in the metal that flexed its last and/or got bonked in just the right place.
Glad you got it back on the road and working in the
This week, I added some TRD Pro 5x150 wheels off of a 2020 Tundra.Added some new headlights today and cleaned up the wiring from the lockers installation. Tomorrow I’m going to figure out how to have power to the back windows for when I’m sleeping back there. Hopefully I can just run a hot jumper to the fuse. Otherwise I’ll run a new hot wire to the motor wires. I’m not great with electrical on cars so it’s always a learning experience for me.

Spend $2k in parts and get to apply a very satisfying sticker.
How do you remove those lights in the lift gate? Mine are burnt out, but I'm afraid of breaking them. They don't seem to come out easily.Replacing my top hatch seal (68281-60020) due to a water leak and decided to fix some corrosion while I had it off.
The worst of the damage was from the PO using a screwdriver to remove the license plate bulb housings, which scratched the paint and rust had started. There was some bubbling around the handle and drain hole as well. Wire wheeled until I had clean metal.
As you can see by the pic I had to remove quite a bit of paint. I was surprised to see how far out the corrosion wen, even where the paint on top looked seemingly perfect.
