Are the instructions in the FAQ the best ones? They confused the heck out of me. 😂 Definitely want to figure it out this week! PM me if you got any tips. Thanks!
I would say I’m above average diy guy. (Tech for 15 years)

But I remember it was super easy.

Raise and support by frame
Loosen torsion adjuster bar bolts
Mark current location
Loosen bolts at a arm that faster torsion bar to arm
Pop loose
Rotate 4 teeth (just a guess and i think I needed up going more)
Reverse process.

Looks like a safari copy cat snorkle V1 or V2? Do you have a link handy to the fleabay listing?

Picture 11 shows the coupler as it should look, not how it shows up at your door. Otherwise the kit is of very good quality though.

It’s definitely been a learning experience this past week. I’ve never dealt with pinion angles or installed rear control arms, even after 8 years as a dealer technician. But nonetheless here I am working with it and learning. View attachment 2966197

I’ve installed the @ironman4x4 upper control arms that are adjustable. This will be how I adjust my pinion angle. I measured it quickly this morning and I am roughly 4* difference between the output shaft flange and the pinion flange. I definitely have enough inward adjustment to achieve close to 0-1* difference. They also have factory style bonded rubber bushing to maintain the factory style ride that you lose with poly bushings.

Anyone know the blot size, grade, pitch, etc. to mount the Ironman rear upper control arms? TIA.

They're unique bolts with serrations on the mating surface, and you'll want to replace them with new OEM.

***4 each for upper arms, or 8 each for upper and lower.

Oooh, thanks @Eyedaho - very helpful!

OME 2866 Coil Springs, & rear shocks finished up. Torsion bars were unfortunately pretty much maxed out, so I have to figure out how to re-index them or live with 2in of rake.

Give it a few weeks. It will settle. You’ll look back at pictures and kind of forget what it looked like right after install. I’ve done two 100’s; one with 864s and one with 863s. Both settled in nicely after two to three weeks.

If you're impatient like me you can just go find a street with a bunch of speed bumps to "settle them in." 😁

The before and after, so far. Since these pics I removed the fender flares. I’m working intermittently on compounding out the rub marks left behind.
"Bama 2 Baja" is 27 days away.

Put in rear lift supports, sweet Jesus, so nice they lift all the way up by themselves now. Replaced stripped screws in the rear view mirror so my windshield tint can get done properly, Kenwood unit in the dash and sub in the back, with a nicely done install and wiring job by local shop.

Bought some 16" OEM LC wheels months back. Finally sent them out for powder coating. Haven't bought tires for them yet but anxious to. I used Les Schwab for the powder coating. They came out to $90 a piece. More than I wanted/expected, but no biggie.

For tires, I really want 295/75R16 KO2's. DiscountTireDirect says "special order, usually ships in 7 business days". Anyone have experience with that? Or should I just get 285's due to not much difference in size and easier to source?

Just do the 285s. If you’re ever in a bad situation and need a spare quickly, you’ll appreciate the availability of the 285 size.
