Is that on a suction cup mount or did you mount to the mirror? Mine is on a suction cup but sunlight and altitude make it pop off periodically.
I originally had it mounted with various double sided tapes but they never held up in the summer heat. This kit also came with a suction cup mount which has been much better. I would say over the second half of the summer it only came off once or twice.

New oem rotors , bearing races , bearings. waiting on oem brake pads, and rear rotors to come back from resurfacing

Magnaflow # 11255 installed. Couple threads on here recommended it for 100 series. Left the stock resonator in tact.

Sounds great. Just slightly louder than stock. Nice deep sound. The original muffler looked bad and after removing weighed 40-50 lbs. $120 shipped for the muffler. $100 to install.

Well, finally decided to join the club here on Mud.

We did some wheeling this week, trimmed my front bumper and installed a Badlands Apex 12k winch and winch plate, and did some basic reorganization in the cargo area of the cruiser to clear up the middle seats for hauling another couple out into the wilderness!

Also have taken both driveshafts out and cleaned and regreased the U-joints in an attempt to stop a pretty severe driveline vibration from 50+MPH, rotated and checked balance on tires, and greased both driveshafts as well. Going to be checking in on what you all think about this issue this evening. Looking forward to talking to, and hopefully learning more and more about this rig with you all.

@KCoverland Do start a new member thread. We need to give you a proper MUD welcome.

Be sure to follow KcOverland on Instagram. If you get a chance to go Overlanding with him, do it. So many good times that we've had this year. And oh do we have pictures.

Finally got the rack back from powdercoat and decided to add a few stainless touches. Still have a few more adjustments to make but getting very close!

Looks really sharp. Kind of makes me want to close off the back of my LX, but wouldn’t work with my sleeping arrangement.
Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but I don't sleep in mine so I don't mind it. The lower barrier that drops behind the 2nd row seats is optional

That looks great!

Changed out my fuel filter, at 172k miles I didn't see any receipts/records from PO so figured it's a safe bet to do, plus with my wife's discount I only paid $19 for OEM can't beat it

Would you mind posting a photo of the front connection, pls? TIA.

Do you have the door anchor part number?
For UZJ100, they are compatible with all 4 doors.
There's a possibility 105 uses the same stuff.

The yellow anchors: 9018904200 (I think the screws were 10mm Philips Hex Bolts), you need 12 in total for all doors
The pink anchors (you see it when you pop open the window button panels): 9018906130, 1 per door, Philips Hex screw was larger than 10mm
The plastic expansion anchors: 9046707066A1

It looks like Toyota redesigned the yellow anchors slightly (compared to my 2000), it prevents over torqueing and loosens a little if you torque it all the way down.
It stays on the door panel with 2 instead of 4 plastic clips on the old design and removal is less of a PITA.
Not sure what's the best way of getting the old yellow anchors out, I pinched them with some pliers and pulled them out in one piece as it gets deformed. Cutting the tail and prying out the anchor head (with a taped flathead or some towel to prevent paint chipping) might be a better option.
You could pinch the tail on the pink ones with some pliers and get them out though.

Hey Everybody, yesterday afternoon I saw this in person. I think this is a work of art product. Also, I saw the new design stainless CV axle puller. Again, it's a nice quality tool. All I can say is we are lucky to have these products available.

Over the past couple of weeks I have added the shock spacers front and rear from Japan 4x4, 30mm spring spacers in rear, Slee diff drop, replaced fuel filter, oil change, replaced valve cover gaskets, new pcv hose, one new coil pack, 8 new spark plugs, alignment, and a fresh set of 295/70/18 Ridge Grapplers... Up next - new rotors, pads, another ******* steering rack :bang:, timing belt service, and radiator... god help my bank account...
