Is your paint code 1B1? Do you mind sharing where you purchased the paint? On an unrelated note, is your awning mounted to your factory rails?

hmm... not sure, it is champagne pearl, but the cladding color is UCA46. The paintscratch.com website walks you through pulling your paint codes. see below for a snip from my order.

I've been chasing an obnoxious squeaking ever since I replaced my power steering pump. Today I found it. Turns out the fluid leaked down onto the back side of the CV axle where it connects with the hub. I vigorously sprayed some brake cleaner while turning the wheel and then some heavy duty silicon spray. Nice and quiet again.

5/8” ACME made this no.2 no effort at all, didn’t even need heat... 30 seconds give or take and it was out! Now if I could get the damn ball joint on the passenger side to free up.

Yeah, I'd like to know more about this as well. I browsed the 8-9 page thread for it, but it seemed like people were still experimenting to find the right set up.

Was able to pop all bushings with very little effort and no heat, all bushings had corrosion so I’m impressed. I have to credit flintknapper for the suggestion from a thread on here, it worked like a charm!

Used for both no 1 and no 2. No1 I had to hammer and chisel the flange side then grind off to get a receiver on it. Once that was done the diy press worked like magic, no vise, no bull**** holding the arm, on the ground like a savage.

Also, if using 5/8” rod try and find a 3/4 drive socket that fits the bushing. I couldn’t locally so had to bore out a 1/2” drive which was a total pain and took WAY longer than I’m proud to admit.

JACKERY EXPLORE 1500

I received the Jackery Explorer 1500 and let me tell you guys this thing is a beast. If you into camping, offroad and using electronics outside the house. This unit is a must. Either Jackery Explorer 1000 or 1500 I would recommend for people to get.

All of the Jackery will work to power a 12v fridge with no problem. I went out on a 2 day camping trip and forgot my Solar Saga 100 panesl. Let me tell you guys my ICECOO VL60 kept my food cold I even had icecream. I had the Jackery Explore 1000. Obviously the 1500 Explorer last longer . But man Jackery Explorer 1500 charges so much faster with the 4 panels I was getting 361watts. Little over 4hrs to fully charge depends on wattages ur getting in. The Icecoo fridge was running at max and Jackery was still charging with no problem.

Ill recommend Explorer 1000 or 1500 for overlanding just to be safe but my buddies have the 500 and 330 and run their Icecoo fridge with no problems.

Comes down to how long your stay and how much wattage your devices are drawing.

Last picture is all of my buddies Jackery at pismo. I think we like Jackery lmao.

I finally got the lower eyelet on my driver’s side rear shock to come off the lower mount on the axle. I tried heat, I tried a 42” pry bar, I tried an old school 3 jaw gear puller that kept slipping off, and finally what worked was a beefier 2 jaw gear puller ($38 on Amazon). No joke, the inner rubber isolator was stretched to the max and I was worried I was going to lose a finger if the puller popped off given how much pressure was being applied.

Now I know why this was so incredibly challenging to remove. That shaft has some noticeable curvature to it. Michael Scott: “That’s what she said!”

Bending it back will only fatigue it more. It has plastically deformed, it is what it is. You could cut it out and weld a new stud in. Or just hammer on the new shock.
