New OEM rear shock, Old Man Emu 865 spring + 10mm trim packer, and Bora 1.25” spacer installed on passenger side rear. Unfortunately I couldn’t dislodge the lower eyelet on my driver’s side rear shock, which is KYB. So I’m stuck until I can navigate past that. What’s crazy is that I fought with it a month ago, but finally got it dislodged. I greased the shaft putting it back on. Now a month later, it’s fused even worse this time around. 🤬

Took a detour from the trails to the suburbs and helped my buddy winch his broken down F350 into the backyard from the street. Glad I went with the 12k winch 😂

PS; after investigating, the neighbors house was not on fire lol.

These trucks just look right on 35's! 😎Thoughts on the Kenda tires?
They do look good but are going to require some minor tweeks to the inner fenders before the next dirt trip. That being said I haven't taken them offroad yet so cant say much there. I got them because of the alternating outside lugs, decent about of sidewall tread/protection, spacing between inside tread blocks, and lower price point than most other hybrid tire designs... so hopefully they live up to expectations offroad. On the road they track straight, have handled heavy rain very well, and are slightly louder than previous KO2s but nothing like my previous mud terrains. they took 2.75-3.00oz per tire to balance. Pleased with the decision so far.

I almost went that exact route, ended up going OEM Toyota from Cruiser Outfitters(which always impresses me, ordered Wednesday had them Friday.) Doing both No.1 and No.2s, starting tomorrow. Not looking forward to it, I did take advice from a thread on here about ACME rod for my makeshift press so hopefully that'll ease the pain.
When you get a fair bit of tension on it, get out the torch and heat it up. Heat made the job a lot easier.

That's the right part number ACDELCO 45D2347 -- It says Made in Japan.

Yes, that's exactly what is wrong here. RoackAuto shows the pic of 555 bjs but they sent me a generic one instead.

Looks like I will have to ask for replacements.

Rockauto is being rock auto and asking me to pay for the return shipping eventhough it is clearly their fault
That's why I limit my purchases there. I've seen too much.

Past month or so:
Flushed PS fluid.
Replaced brake flex hoses—rear—chassis to axle. I’ve now preventatively replaced all six.
Repacked front right wheel bearing—ran out of time before getting both done.
Oil change and greased drivetrain.
Installed Wit’s End ARB compressor “pacifier” (installed is too fancy a word—put on?)

After twenty six years of fixing my own vehicles I used disposable shop towels for the first time. Holy crap, what a revelation. Especially when doing wheel bearings.
Enjoyed the Lisle bearing packer too.

Random pics in no particular order:

Got my Antidote Clamshell Roof Top Tent installed on my Dissent Roof Rack on Friday. Just waiting on my hi awning mounts to arrive and the back ordered Ironman Quick Release mounts for my Ironman Awning and Shower enclosure.

Slowly getting her ready for a Turkey Day camping trip to Zion and Christmas trip around the rest of the Mighty 5 in Utah.

Finally got around to painting the trim after procrastinating over a year. I think it turned our pretty good. I didnt do much to prep or scuff it up, I just made sure it was really clean and sprayed 2 coats of base, 2 coats of clear.

Is your paint code 1B1? Do you mind sharing where you purchased the paint? On an unrelated note, is your awning mounted to your factory rails?
