Had TB/WP and all other associated parts done. Replaced PCV valve and hoses. The grommet that goes along with the valve was hard and brittle. hoses were starting to crack.Glad i replaced them. Engine idle seems better and throttle response is better it seems. Fuel filter is next on the list.

Yeah I feel like the idle rpm's went up on the PCV valve. Definitely adds to the car feeling a bit healthier

I'm going to need to know how to do that pretty soon. I've got the OEM in the rear and a Harrop/Eaton going in the front.
I have yet to figure out wiring for the rear factory locker. At the moment I am content with the LowRange Offroad supplied harness and and switch. If you already have the rear locker controlled by the rotary switch then you are in good shape. Otherwise @sleeoffroad makes a circuit board that would make this largely painless.

The Harrops eLocker on the other hand is super easy to wire up to the rotary or any other switch for that matter! PM me if you want more details.

dumdum train arrived at the station. renown wheel, meg hub.

will just need to get the proper resistor for the airbag and done. View attachment 2569797View attachment 2569798

and factory wheel is back on. nrg hub doesn’t consistently turn the cup that the TCS uses to measure wheel angle vs speed. resulting in some fun moments.

going to have a part machined to work.
What was the reasoning to swapping out the steering wheel?

I finished the extension of my DIY sleeper platform. After having the cargo section installed for a week or so, I’m thinking it might be a permanent fixture. This thing is super handy! Leave all my daughters softball stuff underneath and still have the top for all the everyday stuff. You know, kids backpacks, groceries, and all the other super cool family crap. :hillbilly:

I also found a Lund Catch All rear floor mat on Amazon for $28 with Prime shipping. It’s a little darker than the factory carpet and it does move a bit, but it’s going to work fine for the price.

I love the sleeper platform idea. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Anything you would do differently if you were doing it over again?

Just a few little odds and ends done over the weekend...

-Replaced the tie-rod ends
-Changed out the A/C Clutch bearings and stator
-Installed Metal Tech Upper and Lower rear control arms
-Replaced all of the Climate control, shift console, and switches left of the steering wheel with LEDs (brightness turned up in the photo)
-Flipped the rear quarter window switch

-Now I'm rebuilding the Factory Alternator that I swapped out last week

After two and a half years, I really can't say that there is. There's a lot nicer platforms out there but for what this one cost, it's still going strong. I found some bins that fit nicely underneath it and the 2.5 gallon jerry can water jugs fit as well. If I was do it again, I'd probably do the same exact thing.

Love to see a write up or details on the center console LEDs

How difficult was this with the compressor still mounted on the side of the engine?
Personally, It wasn't soo bad that I wouldn't do it again... The most challenging part of this was trying to remove the snap ring and c-clip. If you remove the fan, it'll make it much easier. But getting the snap ring pliers in a good position was the most difficult part of it all.

This is probably the best place to start...Comprehensive LED Thread It was what I used as my "go-by" starting out. Once I got the climate control lights changed out, the rest of the lights in switches were straight forward. I bought all of my bulbs from Superbright LEDs

I can say that all of the switches in the center console and to the left of the steering column are NEO3-GHP 3mm Green

Buy yourself a 9v battery and a couple of gator clips to test the illumination circuit on all of the switches to save yourself some time in making sure the bulbs are installed correctly.

If you need/want any more extra information, just let me know and I'm happy to provide more detail and information.

I've been thinking about KM3s as well. How's the road noise? How do you like them?
Definitely an increase in road noise. I am still in the build phase of the project and have not had much time behind the driver seat. This is not my daily driver.
