I finally got my 2020 Land Cruiser wheels onto my 04 LX470 with 1.5 inch Bora spacers ... loving the fitment & the fresh look ... my 215,000 mile truck still looks good ... best decision I made was to own a 100 Series truck!

Looking around the lx470 and checking stuff before we leave for a hockey tournament this weekend. Notice the upper radiator hose leaking. Will be ordering a new housing and hose and fixing before we leave saturday. I was keeping an eye on this as we replaced the thermostat, timing belt, and water pump back in august. Should have just done this then.

Installed the BT45 in the LX. Bluetooth audio is through CD4 and displays band name and track title. Also ran USB/AUX to the right side port beside the cig lighter. USB/AUX is through CD6. No info on screen. Phone is still through factory Bluetooth. Everything sounds great after playing with the DIP switches.

Before buttoning everything back up I was checking modes. Couldn’t figure out why AM and FM weren’t working. Forgot to plug the antenna back in. DIY audio installer to the rescue! Only took me one beer to figure out the mistake. Good to go now!

Good thing it was only one. I've found the more beer I drink while troubleshooting, the more trouble I get in to. Weird.

What size does that breakdown to exactly 35x12.5x18?
How much rubbing are you experience and what lift are you running if any?
Yeah, 35x12.5. I’ve done the ahc adjustment, coil spacers, 1 inch wheel spacers, pinch weld and some liner trimming. I did have to trim some off the bumper. It sometimes rubs the bumper in reverse for some reason. No issues while driving or off road.

Looks great. How much does it weigh?

This post says the base system weighs 30 lbs. I'd guess the sleeper add on is about another 10ish pounds, so call it about 40-45 lbs total weight.

That's legit, thanks for finding that. I'm trying not to add too much weight to an already heavy truck

@suprarx7nut can you answer the weight question above?

Platform with out sleeper comes in around 35 lbs if I recall correctly. The sleeper panels and hinges add another 20 or so, I think.

The whole system ships at right around 60 lbs as you see it there, but that includes a heavy box and packing materials.

Dare I say, it's by far the lightest storage solution system and sacrifices nothing when it comes to load capacity on top of that platform. You can put over 1000 #'s somewhat evenly distributed. I slammed a 300+# gun safe onto it and @Kyle Bell hauled something like 900 lbs of landscaping materials.

Love it!

Had my son swap out the dead hood struts on our "beater" 99 LX with some cruiser yard struts.

and we started the Taiwan wheel swap:

The wood isn't a good match to the factory LX wood, the leather is a better match, but it does look and feel a ton better than what was in there:

We still need to do a bit of fitting to get the airbag reinstalled.

Starting the LRA 40 gallon tank install. Gah, I hate the smell of fuel.

Stock tank slides out under the frame of my slightly lifted rig.
