Your ratchet straps seem like overkill. Were you out of twine? ;)

so here is my psa for the evening, if you have a 76, 77 and i believe 78 fj40/55 toyota in their infinite wisdom used a 3/8" longer outer axle. i don't know if these are even available anymore but the proper action is you buy lockouts for 79 onward with your new axles that said i read some old posts from back in the day where guys would take a fender washer and bolt it into the end of the shorter shaft. i considered it but knowing how i use the 40 i decided to get new lockouts with chrome moly innerds to mate to the longfield axles.
