...the near north woods are whispering my name like the seductress she is
Hell yes! I'm originally a Minnesota boy and the Northwoods of those parts are what instilled the love of camping in me.

My '62 is up on jacks in my garage as I rebuild the knuckles, and replace rotors, shocks, and leafsprings this winter and it's definitely got me thinking about camping.

Was going through some pictures and found these oldies. I'm sure I've posted some of them before.

In my travels if I can camp I will and I've had that opportunity a couple of times lately. The sites I tend to use are those that I know in national forests, and I will plan trips to take advantage of these spots. While national forests generally have established campgrounds I'll avoid those if possible because people, camping fee, people's loose and/or barking dogs, chit-chatty strangers who want to tell me that my Cruiser is now worth a lot of money, etc. The sites I've been within the last week are dead end roads in the Conecuh and Chattahoochee National Forests. Set up camp, cook a simple but good meal, relax.

Over the years the old "RhinoRide" has been used for a number of different setups! Just a versatile old beast!
