Got it back to MT. One problem is RV cover only fits 2 campers. So that’s full already.
View attachment 3925822If we ever got one it was important to get the big fridge. Hopefully this camper works as well as we had envisioned. None the less it’s hear and we will start using it next week. Definitely a slippery slope. Already ordered another alucab shadow awn. Etc.
watch your noggin getting in and out of it lol. i've taken a few sudden stoppages going out our door

how is it running
Better than before. I think I've needed a timing adjustment for a while. I don't know why I hesitate to take on jobs that feel intimidating. Every single time I've done a job that intimidated me, I learned a bunch and ended up in better situation at the end.

Still had an unused club trasharoo. Found it a spot.

Nice!

Just got back from Rubithon 2025! I made it home but the LX did not. Made it all the way on trail and back to the trailer in Carson city but I kinda killed my driveshaft this year. But all the fenders and tail lights are intact. It was rough this year. So quick round of fixes and she’ll be ready to break again

Nice I’m sure there were 1100 other rad obstacles that’s just the only one I could think of immediately.

The bypass itself is quite the obstacle. Off camber lean right twords a rock wall. To high and you’ll hit your mirrors, not high enough and you scrape the rock anyways kind of thing

Fixed free pressure washer. Used it to get the leftover sludge off the undercarriage from the leaky rack

That's awesome! Glad you picked it up, I was super tempted but I need another needy LandCruiser like I need a hole in the head.
Nice guy. He wanted way more than I was willing to pay. I offered him a fair price and he didn’t take it. Called me later on and accepted it. I was stoked. Drove it home with my 12 year old all smiles.

Started a build thread if you would like to follow along. We plan on doing the mechanicals and interiors and leaving the patina.
