What did you do with your Tundra or Sequoia this weekend?

Drove 5 hours round trip to buy a Ram 2500 to replace the Tundra today.....drove home with the Tundra. The Ram was a huge disappointment from build quality to interior space. Test drove an F-250 with the 7.3 gas and 10-speed while I was there, it was much better than the Ram but I was still not sold on it. I might just keep the Tundra, I have been spoiled with Toyota for so long going to something else is going to be tough.
Good call. Sometimes you just have to find out for yourself.

My 2019 Tundra came cooler-less. This was ATF after 21k, no towing/offroading:

I drained it a year / 10k miles later, it was even worse. 10k miles later decided to scramble together all missing cooler setup parts, installed a Derale 13403 cooler. This is ATF at 63k miles, last drain & fill was ~30k miles ago. This time offroading, hauling gear, everything. Wow.

Wife's 2022 Sequoia with the same engine/transmission combo never had high transmission temperatures for some reason, but I still decided to repeat the setup.
I want to do this. Pulling an enclosed utility trailer up a very steep road a few times and got a temp warning. Was really surprised. Road was rough and 500 vertical over 1/4 mile. Super slow going didn’t help but still. Hadn’t looked into it before but glad to see there is an option out there.

Yes, you are correct on that one!

Cummings engines are great everything else around them are junk.
The Fords are much better, IMO The Tundra can’t hold a candle to the F250 towing capability !
I bought my 2017 F350 6.7 new it’s been a dream and I still love it!
That being said I still think with a few modifications the tundra could work well with your intended use.
