I feel the same about our 2016 Platinum, fits every need but with 3 kids having a proximity key and push button start is really missed, and frustrating it took Toyota until MY 2020 to have that. That's the only feature we really are missing, but it would take $25k+ out of pocket to get it.

Didn't expect to be in the minority in liking that feature. Standing in a parking lot holding a car seat, groceries, wrangling a 5 and 3 year old nearby it sure is nice in our LC200 to not have to dig through a pocket or purse for a key fob.

I also want windows with cranks in my Tundra. Reaching over to steering column, inserting a key, shifting to position I, and then backwards, just to close or crack window open, all at night, is inconvenient
Exactly why I’m down with a regular old key
Cost me about 10 bucks for one for my first gen Tundra it has a fob but it’s separate.
And if the battery dies or it goes on the brink I can still open the door and start the truck.
But then I’m old school
Brought home a new family member to the tundra. 2026 4runner off road premium. Wife finally listened to me and got rid of her new gmc Yukon. Thing was a pile of s***. Nothing but problems.
Did a bit of interior modernization in my 2005 double cab Tundra
! New Boss head unit with wireless CarPlay and a backup camera. New door speakers; Infinity Reference up front and Kickers in the rear (this is what the dude from Crutchfield suggested) and a Kicker Hideaway 10” powered sub under the driver seat. I’m actually waiting for an adapter to wire the signal into the sub but it sounds so much better already!
