Took the fam to Colorado!

You look like your were high.... in elevation.

Refreshed the 19 year old suspension with stock shocks from @beno and some OME stock height springs. Gained 1" on all four corners but I imagine that will settle a bit. Way less "jellyfish" over railroad tracks, just a hair firmer overall but not harsh.

Spent a few hours this afternoon with a fine fellow up in Gallatin modeling for a set of sliders for a 3rd gen. He is building them for a guy in Chattanooga and his original plan fell thru. Brent Mann of Trailworks Fab. He isn't officially in the business any more, but he still does the occasional job. Anyway, bad news is I think I need a set of these painted to match my bumper with a few minor tweaks. Anyway, grabbed a few pics.

Kinda like the way it looks without the boards.

It's different to see it in person. I kinda dig it.

I wish I had gotten a picture of the actual slider, but I will say these things are serious beef.

And mostly I like how they line up with the width of the limited flares.

Might a set of these be in my future, who knows.

A couple of shots from RoundUp this weekend. All my pictures look very tame. I must be a very big wimp, because it didn't feel that tame.

Those look really great. Can't wait to get them installed!
Thanks for modeling for the sliders.

Thanks guys. Yeah I saw someone post them up for his 80 on Feb, got Brents name and compared to the other options I thought his price was very competitive for a one stop and install deal. Yeah black cleans up real nice, but it don't stay clean with all these kick ass fire roads and aop 45mins from me!!

Finally got my in cab winch control done, I know super exciting hu.
