Burned fuel to take the oldest snowboarding for the first time. Haven’t done it in about 14 years myself.

Very cool....When, where? Everytime I think about trying snowboarding I hear stories of people seriously hurting themselves so I just stick to skiing. Way to be "fun" dad!

Cataloochee in Maggie Valley. Me needing to burn a day off lined up with their first day of 100% open trails. Was better than expected considering how little snow the surrounding area gets and reminded me of Big Bear, CA.

If you already know how to ski, stick with it and enjoy the snow. I prefer boarding between the two but was a lousy skier. Injury wise, I think you are more prone to upper body injury where skiing is more risk to knees.

Good day out in the Linville area cruising the back roads with the 828 Overland group. Toyota well represented with a 70, mine being the only 80, a cluster of 100's, 200's, 4Rs, and Tacos along with Toby's GX. A sweet Tundra camper rig with a Troll Hole Cruisers adorning the back glass was also along with an LR3 being the only non-yota vehicle. @Payara Offroad Your PM inbox is full and I can't send you the photos.

After completing my front brake job, I did this. . .

Not anticipating any deep water at Morris Mountain next weekend, but if there is, both axles and I will breath easier. As I did with the LX, the new 80 diff breathers were extended. Front to behind the brake booster, rear just behind fuel cap along the filler neck.

Got beefier...and fixed a bent spindle (with new and new gussets). TX ready (except for an exhaust leak).
