My Land Cruiser is not LIKE any vehicle you've had sir.
Visiting some friends today the guys were hanging out around the grill and chatting about everything you could imagine. The talk came to the land cruiser parked out front, mine, yea, the one with the Snorkel. Discussed it for about five minutes and then the owner of the house speaks up "Yep, I had a land rover up until a year ago, it's just LIKE a land cruiser."
I corrected him and said, yea, no, they aren't LIKE each other at all, they are entirely different.
The next guy speaks up before I could finish and said "Yep, those land cruisers are just LIKE a Jeep JK".
Ok, that's enough. I corrected both of them, spoke for five minutes or so. Then the 2nd guy says, so yea, they are LIKE the same vehicle.
The owner of the place had a great looking wife, I said to him "Yep, your wife is just LIKE the hooker over on 34th street". He quickly got offended, how the hell is that? I explained, they are both female, so they are LIKE the same thing. I then went on to tell him that his $2M house, it's LIKE the one I saw in the ghetto for 25K. He got pissed and I told him again, Land Cruiser is not LIKE any vehicle he has had, unless it WAS a Land Cruiser.
Somebody on here said it right, there is no "LIKE" it either is or it isn't.
Long story short, I left a few minutes thereafter.
